Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University (the second affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University), founded in 1835, is the oldest western medicine hospital in China and will celebrate its 180 anniversary in 2015. The great revolutionary pioneer Dr. Sun Yat-sen once studied medicine and engaged in the revolutionary movement here in the name of "Yixian. With a hundred years of inheritance, the hospital has now developed into a large-scale comprehensive tertiary A hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research and preventive health care.
