On June 20, 2012, in Hong Kong, BUZ Design was honored to announce that the Grand Dame of Notre Dame in Sherbrooke Street has been designed as the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Montreal has opened on May 28, 2012. The interior decoration of the hotel lobby, multi-function hall, guest rooms and suites is provided by BUZ Design Hong Kong Headquarters. The excellent Montreal Patti Interior Design Company provides on-site assistance. BUZ adds the latest technology of contemporary style and design, respect and reinforce the historic attributes of a prestigious 1912 hotel. The use of contemporary carpets and furnishings in the current Palm Court and oval ballroom is more glamorous than the crystal chandeliers that were crystal clear before the renovation.
Historically, this hotel was home to many celebrities, including Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, Mick Jagger and many British royal diplomatic receptions. The Ritz-Carlton Montreal's latest restoration of its appearance will restore its location to the city's most prestigious address!
